Robert O’Connell and Mary Moriarty

Robert O'Connell was born 1841 at Ballyegan in Gale Parish, County Kerry, Ireland. The son of Edmond O'Connell and Bridget Costelloe he was baptised on 5 Apr 1841 in Ballydonoghue, Ballybunion Parish.[1] He and Mary Moriarty were married on 8 Oct 1863 at Ballydonoghue.[2] Their children in Ireland were:

Denis O’Connell, b. 25 Aug 1864 at Ballydonoghue.
Bridget O’Connell, b. 10 Dec 1865 at Ballydonoghue.

Robert was listed as being in Ohio, America on Bridget's birth record[3] and Mary and the children joined him shortly afterward.
